Eat Carrot

1. Game Objective

The goal is for a player to move their rabbit from the base of the green "hill" to reach the large carrot located at the peak. The player whose rabbit reaches the top first wins.

2. Game Components

• The Hill Board: A 3D green hill featuring circular holes (pathways) and sudden "trap" holes.

• Large Carrot Figure: Placed at the top of the hill; it is the most exciting part of the game.

• Rabbit Figures: A set of small, colorful rabbits (usually in 4 different colors).

• Card Deck: Contains cards with rabbit illustrations (specifying movement steps) or a "carrot" image (the "surprise" card).

3. Gameplay Mechanics

The game is turn-based:

1. Draw a Card: Each player draws a card from the deck.

2. Move: If you draw a "rabbit" card, you move your rabbit the number of steps indicated (e.g., one, two, or three steps).

3. The Carrot Card (The Surprise): If you draw a card with a "carrot" image, this is where the excitement happens! You must twist the large carrot at the peak of the hill.

4. The Traps (Surprise Obstacles)

This is the core feature that makes the game fun and unpredictable:

• When you twist the carrot, one of the holes on the hill's path might suddenly open.

• If your rabbit is standing on that hole when it opens, it will fall inside the hill and be eliminated from the game (or have to start over), forcing you to lose your progress.

5. Skills Developed

• Anticipation and Caution: Children learn that success is not always guaranteed and that risks (traps) can appear unexpectedly.

• Managing Chance: The game teaches children how to deal with "luck" and unforeseen situations with good sportsmanship.

• Basic Planning: Making decisions on which rabbit to move (if multiple rabbits are assigned to one player).

• Family Fun: Designed to be fast-paced and full of laughter due to the element of surprise.

Why Is It a Special Game?

The game is very simple and easy to learn for children (ages 4 and up), but it remains engaging because it is never boring. At any moment, your rabbit could fall, forcing you to restart, which keeps the competition alive until the very last second.
